Wonder what he'd would've done if he hadn't passed.
I remember hearing he was penciled in to beat Batista at Armageddon in December of 2005.
Would've loved to have seen a Guerrero-HBK World Title match at WM 22.
Very well said LK. I’ve seen more wrestlers pass away that I’ve watched over my 25 years of being a wrasslin’ fan than I care to remember but his passing 7 years ago today was one of those that hit me the hardest as well. Especially because he had overcome so much and we knew that if he hadn’t passed what the future held for him another run at the top and more than anything what his wife and family had to go through. Losing a parent so young is a terrible tragedy.
Coincidentally enough if he was still around today and kept wrestling the person that I’d most like to of seen him work with is his widow Vickie’s business associate Dolph Ziggler. I just think they could’ve had a spectacular series of matches.

If there is one small blessing of Eddie's passing, its that Vickie got into the biz. She likely never would have done so if he lived but looking back, I think it would have been awesome if her and Eddie were a power couple LOL
Here's a weird thought, but would Benoit still be alive today if Eddie hadn't died?
No doubt the guy had fucking mental problems, but it really seemed, from accounts the other wrestlers have had, that Eddie's death sent him into a deep depression that he never fully got out of. If Eddie doesn't die, does the lack of that severe depression stop Benoit's other mental problems from taking over?
Where is Rey Mysterio today? The only reason he's looked at as a main eventer is because Eddie died. Would Rey even still be around wrestling? Would he have taken off for TNA where he would have gotten the push he ultimately proved the he deserved?
What about Eddie himself? Would he still be wrestling and, if so, where does he fit in to the last seven years? Are we completely deprived of Dolph Ziggler because he's lumped in with being Kerwin White's caddy and eventually future endeavoured? Where would he fit into a main event scene that, months later, would feature Edge? Would Edge have gotten the nod at all? Do we get a main event feud between he and Cena at some point during the summer of endless Cena/Orton matches?
So many interesting questions.

Not sure when the exact time was suppose to be but I know he was promised another World Title run right before he passed.
Flashbulb memory for me - finding out that Eddie died. Just absolutely shocked, and sadness followed.
It had been mentioned, but his match with Edge in a No DQ battle on SmackDown in '02 was fantastic. Armageddon '02 and Vengeance '03 against Benoit were also top-notch.
the story i remember hearing was he was gonna win the belt at Armageddon from Batista, Orton was gonna win the Rumble in 06 and it was gonna be Orton vs Eddie at Mania. As far as potential matchups ive always said Eddie vs HBK was money on the table that WWE didnt pull the trigger on, their was so much there to build on outside of their skills in the ring you had the whole part about them being born again christians, who was more devout? etc.
" Pain or damage don't end the world, or despair or fucking beatings, the world ends when your dead until then you got more punishment in store, stand it like a man and give some back. "
According to his Wikipedia page (and we know how accurate that can be) he was going to win the title at a Smackdown taping scheduled for the night he passed away in a triple threat match with Batista and Orton. I am not sure exactly when it was supposed to happen but I do seem to remember on one of the tribute shows them mentioning they had planned to put the big gold belt on him, so it was going to happen and that made me happy. You knew that they had trusted him enough to carry the brand and that his reign as WWE Champion wasn't a one time failed experiment. If he hadn't passed away I think we'd be talking about him as a multiple time heavyweight champion.
My favourite wrestler of all time, without a doubt. I don't think I've ever sobbed more openly than when I found out he died.
Think a lot of my favourites have already been mentioned, but I don't think anybody's dropped either the Mask vs Title against Mysterio from 1997 or this one from the archives - Art Barr and Eddie Guerrero vs Octagón and El Hijo del Santo in a 2 out of 3 falls hair vs mask match.
