I've been going back through WWE 2002, the Eddie/RVD ladder match for the IC Title was pretty sweet. And from WCW his match with Rey at Halloween Havoc is a classic.
Today marks the 7 year anniversary of the passing of former WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero. The wrestling world lost one of the all-time great performers on that day. Eddie could wrestle anyone and get a good match out of them, talk on the mic and was insanely over with audiences in every arena he went to. I don’t know anyone that wasn’t thrilled to see him finally reach the mountain top at No Way Out in 2004 when he beat Brock Lesnar for his first and what was sadly his only WWE Championship. Even though there have been numerous reports stating he was set to get another run with a heavyweight championship on the same day he passed away that would sadly never happen.
Please share some of your favorite Eddie Guerrero matches and moment from his hall of fame career.

It's a bad day... I still watch his match with Lesnar when he won the title. I was so happy. He was like the Latino Superman in that he was the small little guy who can beat these big giants. Since that day, I just don't watch wrestling as much. More than likely, never will. RIP Eddie. Much love.
Eddie's death had an effect on me moreso then any other wrestler's death. Others have died the way he did but he was a favorite of mine and the Wrestling world is not the same without him. He overcame his demons only to die too soon because of the toll they inflicted.
It makes me sad but then I just watch his numerous matches with Rey and smile. His feud with JBL, Angle and Batista were all great as well. I think he would probably have been retired by now or close to it if he had lived but its cool to think about him having a feud with Taker, HBK...and others before he hung his boots up.
Hands down, no contest, without a doubt the best professional wrestler the world has ever known. He could do it all, and do it all better than anyone else before or since. The greatest loss in wrestling history.

He went downhill after he shaved the mullet. Fact.
I always call him the greatest Latino wrestler ever. I have never really ranked the top wrestlers ever. But I've never seen another Luchador/Latino wrestler as good as him. He could wrestle in Mexico, Japan and the United States, plus WWE (WWE is a different style than other places in the United States) and excel. Wish he was still here.
I just haven't loved wrestling as much since he died. I can remember thinking my sister was lying to me when she told me he had died (didn't have internet or cable back then so I found out about 12 hrs after he was found).
He may be gone but he will never be forgotten.
Damn..This day still stings like a bitch, as it feels like yesterday when I came home and sat at my desk to go online to find 'Eddie Guerrero October 9, 1967 – November 13, 2005' displayed in bold letters across my screen. That night changed wrestling for me forever. I always loved Eddie from his days back in AAA and NJPW to what would be his last stint in WWE. Easily in my top 5 of all time dead or alive, bar none. Could provoke any emotion out of the audience, from his lying, cheating, and stealing to his fantastic heel turn on Rey Rey (probably one of the best heel turns in recent memory honestly).
Rest in power Eddie. Keep on entertaining in the afterlife.

Hard to pick a favorite Eddie match: HH vs. Mysterio in 97, the Lesnar match from NWO 04, the JBL match from Judgment Day, the SS match vs. Angle in 04 and match with Edge from SMACKDOWN are all brilliant.
