    BBC The Big Read 2003

Anyone remember the big read? As it's almost 15 years since the project I thought I'd share the novels that got selected so we can have a look at them again. Here's the list - and if it looks familiar, it's because someone unconnected with the BBC changed it up a bit and it became a meme based on the idea of 'the BBC believes you'll have only read six of these' or something like that. 21 . I will not read Jacqueline Wilson. Love George Orwell, hate Terry Pratchett books with a passion.

Edit: most of the 21 are kid’s books.
