I am incredibly envious of you, numb. I bet that was one hellacious show.
That's an interesting thumbnail; he looks like he's got a dingleberry that won't come off because his arse is as hairy as his face and he needs to shave his dirty bungholio
Well, there's that and my hatred of Slayer
Losing Hanneman and Lombardo is rough, but Araya and King just continue to kick ass after all this time. I'm not a huge Slayer nut, but they are pretty awesome. This new album is great imo.
I'm in the mood for some David Bowie now. Shocking news that he has passed away.
I prefer the cover by Nirvana. Not that Bowie isn't good, as he most certainly is.
I was born 89 and most of my favorite music is 90s. Not really sure why as I never saw an Acid Bath or Crowbar or Eyehategod CD in my parents collection. Just fucking Oasis and crappy dance music mainly.
Looking forward to hearing each of the EPs. I know some people are bitching about moving away from Grind on this one, but I actually prefer the more Doom influenced sound.
Artists are dropping like flies in 2016. Hard to find good Youtube videos on Prince because he hated Youtube.
JIMMY EAT WORLD - "The Middle"
JAMIE'S ELSEWHERE - "Giants Among Common Men"
FOUR YEAR STRONG - "Stuck in the Middle"
Saw them over the weekend and this was their first performance of their new song. It was the 8th time to see them, and my buddy and I are contemplating flying to NYC next month to see them play Central Park... I included a link below of some pics and videos of the night. Quite a few youtube links of different songs and I found one of the entire show.....
Metallic's new song. Moth into Flame. Better than Hardwired.
Deceptively good big band throwback. Though he falls flat a couple times, vocal range is impressive. One of their better songs imo
The Wall is a brilliant concept album. Every song on it is awaiting. My personal favorite is The Trial.
The brilliance, is that the movie is better. Have you ever watched a video of the live show? Just as good.
My favorite from The Wall is Nobody Home. I got to see Roger Waters perform the Wall a couple years ago in Philly. It was amazing. I'm hoping to catch his new tour too.
And as good as the record is, I wouldn't put The Wall top 3 Floyd albums.

Dark Side is always #1.
Then what other 2?
Momentary Lapse and Delicate Sound are really good too.
I'd go Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and Animals. Those three and The Wall are all masterpieces though. A Momentary Lapse of Reason has some great jams (On the Turning Away is one of my faves) but no Waters lyrics puts it below the others in my opinion.

Fair, but Learning to Fly is equal to any Waters Song.

I respect your opinion but Waters lyrics are on another level. He was the lyrics, Gilmour was the sound. And I'd much rather attend a Gilmour solo show, but he rarely tours in U.S.
On a big Ed Sheeran kick lately. If it's true that gingers have no soul it's because this dude has straight Shang-Tsung'd them all. All he talks about is getting laid and wasted yet he still makes it sound classy.
Yeah yeah, it's from the voice UK, but this was absolutely brilliant
