What Songs Are You Really Feeling Right Now?

What songs are you just digging right now?

I'm up on Gwar right now, such a consistently awesome band. Their new album is awesome.

Because I'm a double-lap danceaholic on GTA:V, this song has been in my head for a week now:

It almost makes me think of what the ultimate payoff will be between HHH and the entire WWE roster.

I'm seeing GWAR when they come to Australia next year and I'm pretty stoked. As for what I'm currently feeling:

We Want Some Pussy - 2 Live Crew
    Losing My Insanity - Dio
    I Am A Viking - Yngwie Malsteem
    Hordes of Chaos - Kreator
The Ballad of Leonard and Charles - Exdous

Similar to FoonZees, I tend to get lucky on GTA to have this playing when rolling to a stripper's house for a little action:

Took me a few listens, but "Berzerk" is growing on me. I prefer "Survival", but apparently it's not on the standard album.

The new Alter Bridge album has been getting spins too, it's a solid album.

Is Berzerk that shit he debuted when he was all fucked up at the Mich/ND game? That song was fucking horrible.

15 years in and Em is still raising his game. "Rap God" is crazy sick, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna take a year with this album to catch everything.

Listening to Anthrax's "Persistence of Time" album. Forgot how good of an album from top to bottom this was.

Shinedown's cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man" is amaze balls:

I've always liked Shinedown's version better.

I also felt the same. Even though it might have to do with the quality of production.

Dude, I gotta thank you. I have a powerpoint presentation I gotta do for sociology, and my topic is the mass media's influence on society. I think I just found the song to go with it.

I'm with Monkey, what you said is Sacrilege. That said, the version is better than I thought but it doesn't even touch how good Skynyrd was. As for songs I'm currently feeling. I can't go past this and the Rob Zombie version is a piece of shit in comparison:

As for Anthrax, I prefer Among the Living top to bottom but god damn does Persistence of time not have some good songs on it. I'd have to say In My World is my favourite track off that album with the medley of Intro to Reality/Belly of the Beast being a close second.

Can't help it man. I've just always believed that Shinedown's vocals carry better than Skynyrd's. I've always known this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't think anyone can argue it at least pays adequate homage to such an iconic band.

I can. It's not that good. It's a fine cover in that they don't butcher it, but they don't make it their own. I hate covers like that, unless you're a cover band.

I don't like rap god ether. Early Eminem is awesome but I think he's lost it musically.

^^^ What? Not liking it is your opinion, but to say he's lost it is plain wrong. Recovery was one of his most critically acclaimed albums ever. Most reviews I read put it somewhere between MMLP and Eminem Show. If you miss early Em though, I'd give MMLP2 a shot. I'm sure there's a reason he named it that.

Ha! I didn't even know it was a cover. Shinedown's awesome. I can't imagine an overrated band like Skynyrd's is better.

Of course skynyrds is better, and they deserve all the praise they get. In my mind skynyrd are better than the Beatles and the rolling stones put together.
