You like a cover of a song that is almost exactly the same as the original.

Again, I've never heard the original, but I find Skynyrd to be overrated from what I have heard.

Decyfer Down's Scarecrow is one of, if not, the best albums of 2013, imo

Did not like the new song by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts but I was damn happy to see she is still rocking.

    MMLP2 has leaked.
I think it's awesome that the word lisp has an "s" in it.

Sorry for the double, but I highly recommend "Headlights". Anyone who's followed Em through the years should appreciate it.

I really like that song. The singer from fun., Nate Ruess, has done a great job in that one. The best song has to be 'Survival' though, it has got that whole anthemic feel to it and the guitar work on that one is solid.

I really needed a laugh and these songs gave it to me in droves.

Heard this at work last Monday:

Never would have guessed it was Elton John when I first heard the song.

Agree with Battle Born. Avenged Sevenfold has been putting out real quality lately as well. I have a buddy that misses old Korn, but "Never Never" is in my top ten rotation right now.

The new KoRn album is dope.

Good Man is a brilliant f'ing song; sad the rest of the album didn't quite add up.

I cannot believe that I haven't posted on this sooner.

    Currently?

Talking Heads- (any, it's all incredible imo)

    The Temptations- "The Great Pretender"

Tool- Lateralus (not a surprise considering I'm writing a column series about it lol)

Temple of the Dog- (Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell singing for one band....nuff said)

Deftones- (Particularly at present time, White Pony, and their cover of Sade's, "Ordinary Love")

I'm also feeling another Ben Folds Five kick coming on.

    Music is life
