Horrible weekend of games last week.

This week ought to be better since conference play gets going.

Don't wanna get too far ahead of myself and deem Terrel Hunt the next McNabb, Graves or McPherson, but I'm really liking what I have seen from the Syracuse qb. Granted, his numbers have been accumulated against the 2nd team Northwestern D, an FCS progam and Tulane. However, Hunt has a level of athleticism and poise that has helped the Offense look better than it has under the transfer Drew Allen.

The real test comes in 2wks when Clemson visits the Dome.

edit:btw, I'm liking the new alternate jerseys..bout time the Cuse get with the times.

We're probably gonna lose a closer game than most people expect, but... Hotty Toddy!

There are some really dumb phrases and cheers in sports. Hotty Toddy might be the worst.

My Zod, West Virginia should be penalized for those uniforms.

Also, South Carolina is lucky they don't have to play Bama, LSU, or A&M, because if they had to play them, they'd get obliterated.

No doubt. Though its kinda fun seeing Spurrier when his team is struggling.

I'm going to catch a little BC v.FSU until its time for me to get outta here. Pseudo scouting the Orange's ACC opponents.

Please remain healthy the entire season Belldozer. Because if you go down, that means Trevor Knight is the starting QB, and he's not beating anyone with his arm. With Belldozer, at least the other team knows he has a big arm, which while not the most accurate, can burn you. Knight so far in his career, has just been abysmal throwing the ball.

But this is old school Sooner ball we're seeing from Oklahoma. Beat you with the run game, and the defense just beats you up. That's old school physical Sooner ball.

If someone could just shoot me in the face, that'd be great.

At this point, USC might be better off calling Matt Leinart and seeing if he wants to be the head coach.

Arizona State is faster than USC. That's right USC can't keep up in a race with a Pac team not named Oregon. How the mighty have fallen.

Hawaii was down 42-3 to #25 Fresno State with 6 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter, and were a hail mary as the clock hit 0:00 of winning the game, before finally losing 42-37. Helluva comeback, but the team still fucking sucks. Brutal times out here. Norm Chow has to go. He hasn't been able to recruit worth a damn, and the team has become a laughingstock under his watch.

Yeah, he certainly learned from his father..

Lane Kiffin is out as the Head Coach of USC. A move that was long overdue.

I'm surprised he stuck around after the disaster that was last season for USC. Since they kept him after last season, I thought he'd last all season, but I guess seeing that Arizona State was faster and more athletic was finally enough for USC.

I am surprised he survived to coach after losing to Wazzu the way he did.

Judging by his past career trajectory, Kiffin will now take over as head coach for the Green Bay Packers.

They fired him in the LAX parking lot. That's pretty phenomenal.

I don't think Hugh Freeze is gonna be too happy about this.

Man, Iowa State got screwed, they also saw a Texas player take a cheap shot, that Mack Brown defended. So let's see Texas needed the refs bailing them out, they have players acting phony tough, and they're not a physical team.

The Longhorns are going to get the shit beat out of them by the Sooners.

OSU is lucky as hell. Northwestern got a horrible spot on that 4th down late in the game.

Now they won't play anyone til the Michigan game.

It looks like we just lost Keith Marshall, Michael Bennett, and Justin Scott-Wesley for the year. If their injuries are as serious as they looked, losing those three is going to kill us against Florida.

Good thing I listened to a guy at work who said take Maryland and the 17 points against FSU because Maryland had a damn good defense. 63-0? Money down the drain.

Maryland has a solid football team.

Unfortunately, they ran into one of the two ACC teams built like SEC teams, and lost.

    Congrats Big Ten!
