Ah it all makes sense now. I could not fathom how the greatest thing since THE Brian Kendrick would be a Hawks fan. I know where you come from. i wouldn't do it for lowrie obviously but usually when my closer situation inevitably starts to blow i actually do like to shop my one or two closers and just punt saves and replace with the shutdown set-up guys for the ERA and WHIP help. but again, not for lowrie.
i've always been firmly against vetoes for reasons other than suspected collusion (and who the fuck's going to collude in a free public league with no stakes?) and this just reinforces my correct opinion. real baseball gms don't get to protect jack z or bill smith or somebody from themselves, why should fake ones get to.
i'm playing in a public fantasy baseball league because i was desperate for more leagues and this guy keeps offering me these really dumb trades where i get Random Good Player + Pedro Alvarez and he gets Random Mediocre Player + Brandon League. but the fucking league keeps vetoing them!!!!!!!!!!! i'm fucking PISSED OFF AND MAD AS HELL
